Comedy starring Jerry Lewis and Jill St. John. Dog walker Norman Phiffier (Lewis) and wealthy heiress Barbara Tuttle (St.
John) are engaged, but Barbara has been keeping her family's wealth a secret because of Norman's pride and his desire to save enough money to buy them a house before they marry. Meanwhile Barbara's mother Phoebe (Agnes Moorehead), unhappy that her daughter is engaged to a man of lower social standing, arranges for Norman to get a job at one of her department stores and asks the store manager Mr Quimby (Ray Walston) to give him the most difficult tasks. She hopes that he will quit and prove to Barbara that he is worthless, but what will happen when the truth comes out? John McGiver also stars.
