Suzy Kendall and Dennis Waterman star in this British drama directed by Peter Collinson. When Polly (Kendall) grows weary of her privileged life in Chelsea, she decides to move to a working class community in Battersea. She gets a job at a candy factory where she makes new friends and begins a relationship with working class Peter (Waterman), who dreams of leaving Battersea and becoming rich.
However, the stark differences in their circumstances soon threaten to come between them. The cast also includes Adrienne Posta, Maureen Lipman and Liz Fraser.
