Lil Rel Howery and Kyrie Irving star in this US comedy directed by Charles Stone III. Having just spent his life savings on entering a team in the Rucker Classic basketball tournament in New York, Dax (Howery) is dealt a huge blow when he loses his players to bitter rival Mookie (Nick Kroll). Determined not to give up, Dax comes across legendary baller Uncle Drew (Irving) and manages to convince him to come out of retirement and join his team.
Assembling his old squad - Big Fella (Shaquille O'Neal), Boots (Nate Robinson), Preacher (Chris Webber) and Lights (Reggie Miller) - Drew returns to the court as he aims to prove everyone wrong and take the title once more.
