John Carpenter directs this slasher horror set in 1966 Oregon. Amber Heard stars as Kristen, a young woman who is put in a mental hospital after the police catch her setting fire to a remote farmhouse. When she is introduced to the four other young women (played by Mamie Gummer, Danielle Panabaker, Lyndsy Fonseca and Laura-Leigh) with whom she will share a ward, they tell her that no one has ever been released from the ward.
But something is stalking the hospital corridors and picking off the patients one by one...
