Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins star in this psychological horror thriller directed by Jonathan Demme. Young FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Foster) is sent to meet with incarcerated serial killer Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins). As she races to identify and catch a serial killer who skins his victims, she is forced to open up to Lecter about her past in exchange for his insights into her case.
However, Lecter has plans of his own and when he escapes from prison, Clarice has two dangerous killers to pursue. The cast also includes Scott Glenn, Ted Levine and Anthony Heald.
