All five parts of the BBC miniseries starring Martin Compston and Sophie Rundle. As wealthy married couple Dan and Emily (Compston and Rundle) are struggling to conceive and evaluate their options for having a child, Emily is introduced to 18-year-old Kaya (Mirren Mack) who, despite only recently leaving the care system, agrees to be a surrogate mother for Dan and Emily. However, Dan has complicated feelings about using the young woman for surrogacy and although he longs to make his wife's wishes come true, has reasons for concern when Kaya begins to act strangely.
