Rob Zombie writes and directs this comedy prequel to the 1960s sitcom. Mad scientist Dr. Wolfgang (Richard Brake) intends to make the perfect man but instead creates Herman Munster (Jeff Daniel Phillips) after his assistant Floop (Jorge Garcia) retrieves the wrong brain for their experiment.
When vampire Lily (Sheri Moon Zombie) sees goofy Herman on TV, she is enthralled, having suffered through many terrible first dates in her search for love. They meet, fall in love and marry and, after Herman accidentally sells the family home in Transylvania, they move to America, where they unwittingly end up living among normal people in the suburbs. Daniel Roebuck, Sylvester McCoy and Catherine Schell also star.
