Brie Larson reprises her role as Captain Marvel in this action adventure sequel based on the Marvel Comics characters. The destruction of the Supreme Intelligence led to a Kree civil war which caused the Kree home world, Hala, to lose its air, water and sunlight and become barren. Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton), the new Kree leader, seeks to restore Hala by utilising the power of a Quantum Band.
When her use of this band causes Captain Marvel to become linked with Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), the three women begin switching places with each other and must team up to stop Dar-Benn and save the universe.
