Owen Teague and Freya Allen star in this sci-fi action sequel directed by Wes Ball. Centuries after the death of Caesar, apes have become the dominant species on Earth. Noa (Teague) belongs to the peaceful eagle clan but when his home is destroyed by members of a rogue clan led by Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand), who has twisted Caesar's teachings for his own benefit, he embarks on a journey to rescue the kidnapped survivors.
Along the way he meets Raka (Peter Macon) as well as Mae (Allen), a human girl on a quest of her own, and the choices they make will determine the future of both of their species. The cast also includes William H. Macy, Travis Jeffery and Lydia Peckham.
