The Courage of Lassie (1946): Academy Award-winner Elizabeth Taylor stars in this touching family drama about a young girl who rehabilitates an Army's shell-shocked collie. Hills of Home (1948): Lassie movie involving an elderly doctor in a Scottish village who convinces a town father to get his son to study medicine and thus guarantee a new local doctor for the locality.
