In this brilliant British made-for TV feature, a young man called 'Boy' is born with no fingernails. He's gifted with a brain that eventually enables him to exert mind control over others. Things get complicated when he falls for a pretty actress, whose agent encourages the relationship because he thinks he can exploit the boy on TV. Adding to the plot is a mysterious surveillance team that's hunting for the boy, (who are those guys?).
