Augustin BONDOUX / Patrick FRÉMEAUX With O Sinto, Sebastien Kauffmann celebrates twenty years of music and confirms his place among the leading voices of Gypsy swing. Rooted in the Alsatian and Moselle tradition, in the lineage of Tchavolo and Dorado Schmitt, he combines dazzling technique with mature phrasing and expression. The album strikes a fine balance between original compositions and classics, instrumentals and songs, swings, waltzes, and ballads. Kauffmann's radiant virtuosity is matched by Heidi Adel's deeply expressive voice and lyrics, often sung in Romani, giving the band a distinctive identity rooted in Manouche culture.
