Tense 1970s revenge thriller starring William Devane. After returning home to a hero's welcome, Vietnam veteran Major Charles Rane (Devane) soon finds things going downhill. In a loveless marriage, and with some of the townsfolk quickly turning against him, all Rane has left is a collection of silver dollars given to him by some appreciative locals.
But after a low-life gang invades his home, murders his family and steals the coins, Rane sets off for Mexico in pursuit, hell-bent on revenge, and using any means at his disposal to wreak havoc on his tormentors.
