Coralie Fargeat writes and directs this French action thriller starring Matilda Lutz. The film follows young American Jen (Lutz) as she heads for a romantic weekend with her wealthy and married boyfriend Richard (Kevin Janssens) at his desert retreat. However, when his friends Stan (Vincent Colombe) and Dimitri (Guillaume Bouchède) arrive for the trio's annual hunting trip, Jen is assaulted in a violent, unprovoked attack and flees into the desert to escape her tormentors.
After being left for dead, Jen returns to hunt down the three men who have wronged her and vows to kill them one by one before they can find her.
