US horror sequel directed by Brian Yuzna. Curt (J. Trevor Edmond) and his girlfriend Julie (Melinda Clarke) are among the witnesses who gather at a top-secret army research centre to watch a newly-created serum reanimate a decaying corpse and transform it into a deadly bioweapon.
After the experiment is over, the young couple are involved in a horrific motorcycle crash which kills Julie and leaves Curt obsessed with the idea of using the serum to bring her back to life. However, things don't go quite according to plan, and instead of the girl he once knew, Julie is resurrected as an indestructible flesh-hungry monster.
