Natália Germáni and Eva Mores star in this Slovak-language drama co-written and directed by Tereza Nvotová. Following her mother's death, Sarlota (Germáni) returns to her remote mountain home after years away and soon finds herself haunted by memories of her traumatic past. Mira (Mores), a young herbalist, befriends her and tries to help her but the other villagers fear her and treat her with suspicion.
Their society is fiercely patriarchal and Sarlota, an outsider who does not conform to their rigid norms, is increasingly demonised as she attempts to free herself from the ghosts of her past.
