This is Nick's 6th release in this series of prog rock/fusion music. After two recordings with the new mighty Rush Drummer Anika Nilles he now releases his 2nd album with Italian drum maestro Roberto Porta. With the release on October 12th, 2026, of his new recording 'An Unfolding of Miracles' Nick takes his vision of progressive rock fusion to yet another level and direction. This album is a sequel to 'The mask of Sanity' which further explore the writings of Swiss psychologist's Carl Gustav Jung. The production team of Nick Fletcher and Caroline Bonnett, of SCNmedia, have once again created an album to be savoured, both as a sonic production as well as a musical journey. This is a piece of storytelling and has a cinematic feel as the story of the empathic soul is told through music. The album starts at the end of the journey with the following tracks acting as a narrative that takes our protagonist through a difficult and at times painful, tempestuous, melancholic, reflective and complex thirty-year odyssey of inner turmoil to a sense of wholeness and acceptance, represented by the opening track. The booklet includes the poem 'Rebirth' by author Samantha Turner which expresses the odyssey of the empath. Nick is joined by bass player for Indian percussionist Trilok Gurtu and Rush drummer 'Anika Nilles band's' virtuoso bass player Jonathan Ihlenfeld Cuniado from Germany. Italian drummer Roberto Porta - a drummer who has worked with great guitarists Paul Gilbert and Corado Rustici - In Nick's words: "Roberto is one of the greatest drummers in the world today, a musician who possesses virtuosic genius on another level!"This forms the core trio of the album but with guest appearances throughout the course of the recording by the following musicians: Tomasz Bura from Poland, keyboard wizard with the likes of Guthrie Govan contributes keyboard textures and highly original mellifluous synth soloing on two tracks.
