Halle Berry stars in this horror thriller from director Alexandre Aja. Momma (Berry) and her sons Samuel (Anthony B. Jenkins) and Nolan (Percy Daggs IV) live in a secluded cabin in the forest.
Momma reminds her children on a daily basis of the dangers of The Evil which has killed the rest of humanity, with the three of them the only survivors. In order to stay safe, they must remain connected to the cabin at all times, with rope tied to them while they go hunting for food. When Nolan starts to doubt his mother's reasons for their isolation, tensions rise and they begin to lose their close connection.
