In Mannequin (Andrew McCarthy, Kim Cattrall, Estelle Getty. 1987/90 min.), a frustrated young artist's life does a complete turnaround when he creates a gorgeous mannequin for a store window. Then in Mannequin 2: On the Move (Kristy Swanson, William Ragsdale. 1991/95 min.), the fantasy escalates. A young prince falls in love with a beautiful peasant girl but she gets turned into a statue for 1,000 years until she turns up as a department store mannequin. Color/PG.
