A comprehensive overview of the short-lived cult '80s synth-pop band Leisure Process (International). Collecting together all the A&B-sides of their four 7-inch and 12-inch singles for the very first time on CD. Plus the demos and sessions of all the hitherto unheard vault tracks that were in consideration for producing for the bands shelved 1983 album 'Remarkable People With Interesting Lives'.Together with stellar producer Martin Rushent (The Stranglers, The Human League, Pete Shelley, Altered Images) Leisure Process's sophistipop synth sound is enormous, their sartorial and song styling is bold, their lyrics are intelligence divine; everything beckoned one forth to their cerebral electronic dancefloor - particularly their U.S. Dance Chart hit, the double A-Side 'Love Cascade' / 'A Way You'll Never Be'. Compiled with the full approval and co-operation of the band and including a richly illustrated 32 page booklet with quirky and informative essays by band member, singer and lyricist Ross Middleton (ex- Positive Noise) and re-issue project consultant Barney Ashton-Bullock (Andy Bell is Torsten, Downes Braide Association). This album is a real deal archive '80s pop discovery a largely unheard collection of deftly crafted synth-pop direct from the genre's 1982/83 heyday. The band's saxophonist and co-songwriter Gary Barnacle has played with the likes of Kim Wilde, The Clash, Soft Cell, The Teardrop Explodes and Level 42.
