Emerson is a struggling actress who's almost broke and desperately needs money. So she agrees to help three crooks in their bank robbery scheme. They use her as a decoy. When the robbery's pulled off, the three crooks manage to escape but she gets caught and lands in the slammer. Her former childhood sweetheart comes to her aid and gets her released. What then ensues is a twisted series of complications that eventually lands her in prison.
