An independent artist for the first time in years, at the close of his twenties, he felt like he needed a clean slate to find his musical practice again. The result is inspired by his life in NYC - DJing and dancing between clubs and bars in Manhattan and Brooklyn, settling into an apartment, building routines, and the community around him. Pairing dance-driven production with his signature songwriting, the album may sound like a departure from his previous work, but it's his most honest and grounded to date. 4 Dear Life isn't about escaping the world, it's about finding enough joy to live in it.
