When teenage bookworm Takao Kasuga (voice of Shin'ichirô Ueda) steals gym clothes belonging to Nanako Saeki (Yôko Hikasa), the girl he idolises, the theft is witnessed by his classmate Sawa Nakamura (Mariya Ise). She threatens to reveal the theft in order to blackmail him into doing what she says and soon the lives of all three of them become entangled to an unhealthy degree.
