Kristin Hanggi directs this made-for-TV comedy based on the children's books by Jim Benton. At the centre of events is Jamie Kelly (Emily Alyn Lind), a middle school girl whose diary reflects the preoccupations of her peers and classmates. Armed with the support of her friend Isabella (Mary-Charles Jones), Jamie sets out to win the heart of the boy she has the biggest crush on, Hudson (David Mazouz), and to get one over on the vindictive Angeline (Sterling Griffith).
