Marisa Abela stars as the late British musician Amy Winehouse in this biopic directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. The film follows the star's rise to success from an aspiring singer as an adolescent through to her troubled final years in her mid-twenties as she struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and a volatile relationship with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil (Jack O'Connell). Despite battling her demons, Amy's albums 'Back to Black' and 'Rehab' earn her numerous awards and catapult her into music stardom.
The cast also includes Eddie Marsan, Lesley Manville and Juliet Cowan.
