Cillian Murphy stars in this dystopian horror directed by Danny Boyle. When a group of animal activists enter a laboratory to free the chimpanzees housed there, a frantic scientist tries to warn them that the animals are infected with a highly contagious Rage Virus. However, he is ignored and one of the activists is bitten and immediately attacks the others.
28 days later, Jim (Murphy) awakens from a coma to find the whole of London deserted. He meets two other survivors, Selena and Mark (Naomie Harris and Noah Huntley), and together they search for sanctuary but it is not only the infected that they need to fear... The cast also includes Christopher Eccleston, Brendan Gleeson and Megan Burns.
