American couple Tom and Anna Wright (Franco and Hudson) are in the process of renovating their London townhouse but are struggling to make ends meet as they frequently spend more money than they make. When their tenant Ben (Francis Magee) fails to turn down his music after multiple requests, Tom and Anna let themselves into his flat to check if anything is wrong.
When they discover Ben's dead body they panic and call the police, but not before Tom finds a bag containing more than two hundred thousand pounds. As the cash-strapped couple decide to take the money to pay off their debts, they soon discover that the money did not belong to Ben and the real owner wants it back...
