From Vetlanda/Malmo in Sweden, Honeyboy Slim & the Bad Habits delivers their own rock & roll that is spawned out of the classic rhythm & blues of the fifties and early sixties and lifts off from there. The band was formed in 2010 and has previously released one full-length album, several singles and an EP. Though above all they have acquired a great routine through countless gigs around the world, from Lofoten in the north to Spain in the south, from small towns around Sweden to Las Vegas in the USA. With the new self-titled album they return to the energizing rhythm & blues that's the common denominator that brought the band together in the first place, and which have become the band's trademark through the years. The album contains nine original songs as well as a cover of "For You Blue", originally written by George Harrison. The album largely plays it straight. Innovative it is not; fervent, toe-tapping and alive it is. Let the good times roll!
