In this season, the Doctor and his companion, Mel (Bonnie Langford), face an old enemy in the form of renegade Time Lord Rani (Kate O'Mara), and a trip to Disneyland does not prove as enjoyable as first anticipated when they learn about the mercenary Gavrok (Don Henderson).
