All six serials from the 17th season of the classic BBC sci-fi adventure drama starring Tom Baker as the legendary Time Lord. In this season, the Doctor and the newly regenerated Romana (Lalla Ward) arrive on a strangely familiar planet and investigate the drilling that is going on there. The Daleks are searching for their creator, Davros (David Gooderson), in the hope that he can assist them in their war with the Movellans.
Meanwhile, while holidaying in Paris the Doctor and Romana come across the mysterious Count Scarlioni (Julian Glover), who intends to steal the Mona Lisa. Upon investigating further they discover that the Count is also conducting time experiments that could have grave consequences for the future of humanity. The serials are: 'Destiny of the Daleks', 'City of Death', 'The Creature from the Pit', 'Nightmare of Eden', 'The Horns of Nimon' and 'Shada'.
