Peter Graham Scott directs this 1960s British horror starring Peter Cushing, Oliver Reed and Yvonne Romain. Set in the 18th century, the film finds Captain Collier (Patrick Allen) and his crew posted to the English coastal town Dymchurch to investigate smuggling activities. They are quickly made aware of the ghosts that supposedly haunt the area at night, but Collier suspects the local vicar (Cushing) may be protecting a secret, too.
