Together with Bobbie Jo (Carter), a drive-in waitress with aspirations of fame, they embark on a fuel-injected crime spree across the American West. Directed by cult filmmaker Mark L. Lester (Class of 1984, Firestarter) from a screenplay by Vernon Zimmerman (Fade to Black), Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw is free-wheeling mid-’70s independent cinema at its finest.
