Crime drama directed by Kenneth Branagh in which he reprises his role as Hercule Poirot, now retired and living in Venice. Mystery writer Ariadne Oliver (Tina Fey) visits Poirot, hoping to persuade her friend to join her at a Halloween séance taking place at a palazzo which is rumoured to be haunted. She thinks that he will enjoy debunking the work of celebrated medium Mrs Reynolds (Michelle Yeoh) but when another of the attendees is murdered, Poirot is instead put to work.
He must ascertain if something supernatural is at work or if the strange phenomena they have witnessed is merely a diversion created by an all-too-human killer... The cast also includes Riccardo Scarmarcio, Kelly Reilly and Jamie Dornan.
