David Gastine revisits Johnny Cash and the American country folk repertoire in the light of gypsy swing.

Guitarist-singer David Gastine invites us to an imaginary encounter between the world of Johnny Cash and the swing of Django Reinhardt. Supported by two leading soloists, harmonicist Vincent Bucher (a favorite of the Académie Charles Cros 2021) and guitarist Samy Daussat, David takes us on a musical journey in his warm baritone voice that takes us from on either side of the two shores of the Atlantic. If the artist transcends his influences through chiseled re-readings of "Folsom Prison Blues", "Tennessee Waltz", "I Walk the Line"..., the originality of the proposals and textures "Here's my Story", solo guitar/voice, "You don't say a word", magnificently invested in a quartet, or the surprising "Ghost Riders in the Sky"... undoubtedly unfolds new landscapes.
