Released at the wrong time, "Still Climbing" did not achieve the success it deserved. But it's not too late to pay it a tribute worthy of it's qualities and the talent of it's composers and performers. While it returns to more hard-rock territory, it does not ignore some of the elements developed on "Heartbreak Station". A little less varied, it is nonetheless not linear, masterfully led by Tom Kiefer, whose vocals make further progress by becoming more modulated. The band's last studio album, it doesn't seem destined to have a successor, which is particularly regrettable after such an emotional and energetic demonstration of their strong identity. Includes 'Hot & Bothered' (Wayne's World), 'Move Over' (Janis Joplin).
