Family musical fantasy based on the classic fairy tale. In this modern retelling of the story, Tessa (Sofia Carson) is forced to accompany her stepmother Divine (Jennifer Tilly) on a VIP holiday so her stepsisters Athena (Amy Louise Wilson) and Olympia (Jazzara Jaslyn) can audition for a new Cinderella musical. But when she gets there, Tessa begins to think she has what it takes to star in the lead the role of Cinderella herself.
Tired of serving her wicked stepmother, Tessa finally decides to pursue her dreams and go for the part. With some help from make-up artist Georgie (Nicole Fortuin), Tessa disguises herself, wins the part and goes to work alongside pop star Reed West (Thomas Law), who's playing the handsome prince.
